Abstract1016)      PDF(pc) (1013KB)(2652)       Save
Green manure plants have high nutrient content. Overturning green manure crops is conducive to improving soil quality, cultivating good farming soil, and improving crop quality. It also has certain synergistic effects on improving soil physical and chemical properties, improving fertilizer utilization, and promoting crop growth. With the fresh green plant body as a fertilizer base, green manure is a natural green pollution-free fertilizer formed by directly or indirectly compressing fresh samples of the plant body into the soil to release nutrients into the soil after its decay and decomposition instead of fertilizer for the growth of the main crop, or by intercropping the green fertilizer crop with the main crop, to provide nutrients for the main crops, promote the growth and development of the main crops, and and improve the physical and chemical properties of the soil. In this paper, the characteristics of green manure crops were analyzed, and the effects of green manure crops on soil physical and chemical properties and fertilizer utilization rate were discussed. The future research directions and prospects of green manure were expected, indicating that green manure has great potential in agricultural development. The development potential is to provide reference for the research on the effects of green manure on crop production.

Cinnamon oil is a kind of volatile oil component separated from cinnamon or cassia twigs. Its application in solution environment is limited by its poor water solubility and volatility. Thus, Cinnamon oil is prepared into emulsion in this study to improve its stability and water dispersivity. Firstly, centrifugal stability is taken as the evaluation index, and the suitable range of oil phase proportion, emulsifier and stabilizer dosage in emulsion prescription is determined through single factor screening. Then, the optimum formulation of Cinnamon oil emulsion is determined by orthogonal design with the retention rate of centrifugal emulsion as the evaluation index. In the optimal formulation, the mass ratio of Cinnamon oil, emulsifier Tween-80 and stabilizer xanthan gum is 10%, 2.0% and 1.5%, respectively. Under the optimal formulation, Cinnamon oil emulsion could be prepared with favorable stability and homogeneity. This study provides the basis for further application of Cinnamon oil emulsion.

Malus sieversii is a tertiary relict plant. As a precious fruit germplasm, it has some excellent traits, such as stronger anti-cold ability, the resistance to insect, disease and drought. In this paper, the biological characteristics of seed germination in different populations of Malus sieversii were explored. The results show that 1 000-seed weight varied among different populations, and those of HR were the heaviest (26.86 g), subsequently with GY population (25.63 g), XY population (23.58 g) and NY population (19.76 g). By comparing three different methods of seed germination, it is concluded that the germination rate was much higher with removing the seed coat, reaching to 100% after 3 days. However, the seeds stratified outdoor at low temperature started to germinate after 40 days, with germination rate of 85.67%. When treated in freezer at 4 ℃, the seeds germinated after 60 days, with germination rate of 91.33%. The seed coat could be the main limiting factor for its germination. According to the study, it is can also be concluded that seeds stored for less than 3 years have higher germination rate of over 87%, seeds stored for 7 years dropped prominently to 31.6%. These results also show that germination rate in HR population was the highest (93%), followed by XY population, and that in NY population was the lowest (74%).

To find out an effective and simple method to make the casting specimen of rabbit’s pulmonary trachea and bronchial tree, so as to provide a real and rigorous anatomical basis for veterinary related teaching, scientific research and clinical practice, three corrosion methods were used in this research. Self-solidifying denture powder and denture water were used to prepare fillers in proportion, and then perfusion from the throat into the lungs of rabbits. After the filler solidified, Sodium hydroxide solution, sulfuric acid solution and hydrochloric acid solution were used to corrode the lung tissues. The results showed that all of the three corrosion methods could get good cast specimen. The specimen corroded by sodium hydroxide solution only needed to be immersed in the same solution again; The specimens corroded by sulfuric acid solution were black and needed to be bleached again; The specimens corroded by hydrochloric acid solution needed to be immersed in alkaline solution to remove the residual lipids. After filling the lung with self-coagulating dental powder and dental bracket water at the ratio of 1.0∶1.5, 50% sodium hydroxide solution were used to corrode the lung tissue. The intact, moderately elastic, clean and smooth respiratory cast specimens could be obtained, and bronchial trees could be clearly seen. Sodium hydroxide solution did not need to be equipped with other solutions, and the substance was not volatile. It is the most convenient and safe method among the three corrosion methods.

Type 2 diabetes is acommon chronic disease, and it is associated with insulin resistance. Loss or dysfunction of β-arrestin2 results in the development of insulin resistance and progression of type 2 diabetes. However, administration of β-arrestin2 significantly amend glucose intolerance and insulin resistance. In this article, We fused SUMO and β-arrestin2 gene with recombinant PCR methods, and then inserted it into pET22b vector, and constructed a expression vector pET22b- SUMO- β-arrestin2 successfully. A recombinant expression plasmid was expressed in Rosetta Blue(DE3)line of E. coli with IPTG at the temperature of 20 ℃. The SUMO-β-arrestin2 fusion protein was purified with Ni-NTA successfully. Lay the foundation for subsequent pharmacodynamic research of β-arrestin2.

Abstract388)      PDF(pc) (389KB)(1803)       Save
In this paper, a split-plot experiment was designed to study the effects of different planting densities and row spacing modes on filling rate and grain quality of a summer maize variety ZD958. Four planting densities were 93 000, 81 000, 69 000 and 57 000 plants/hm 2, respectively. Three row spacing modes were one plant per spot with equal row, three plants per spot with equal row and three plants per spot with wide and narrow row, respectively. The results indicate that grain filling process did not significantly change with planting density increase while row spacing mode probably affected grain filling under the same planting density. Neither planting density nor row spacing significantly influenced crude protein and fat content, while higher planting density, such as 93 000 plants/hm 2, could significantly decrease soluble sugar content and sucrose content. The cropping pattern of three plants per spot with wide and narrow row could significantly decrease sucrose content. Therefore, it was concluded that in order to increase the economic benefits of maize production, the planting density and row spacing mode should be adjusted in accordance with the requirement for yield or quality in practice.

Journal of Tianjin Agricultural University    2022, 29 (4): 75-85.   DOI: 10.19640/j.cnki.jtau.2022.04.015
Abstract702)      PDF(pc) (893KB)(936)       Save
Behavioral ecology is a discipline that studies the evolutionary basis of animal behavior due to ecological pressure. After studying the four problems that need to be solved and the direct causes, ontogeny, survival value and systematics of animal behavior, behavioral ecology emerges from ethology. Studying the causes and laws of these behaviors can help us better understand self-discipline and protect animals. Transcriptomics is a science that studies all transcripts of a specific cell, tissue or organ at a specific stage of growth and development or under a certain physiological condition. Different from the relatively stable genome, transcriptomics will change with the change of growth and development stage, physiological state and external environment. Therefore, we can study the mechanism of biological growth and development, stress physiology, disease resistance and immunity through transcriptome analysis. The behavioral research of Apostichopus japonicus is of great significance for improving the production management mode, improving the breeding mode, improving the harvesting efficiency, designing the harvesting facilities and investigating. The transcriptomics of Apostichopus japonicus is more like a key, which can better help us open the door of behavioral research, help us better understand the causes and regulatory mechanism of Apostichopus japonicus behavior, and make more efficient use of Apostichopus japonicus behavior for production and breeding. In this paper, the research status on different behaviors of Apostichopus japonicus, such as movement, feeding, clustering, stress, reproduction, competition and hibernation, was reviewed, and the transcriptomics related to the behavior of Apostichopus japonicus was summarized, so as to provide reference for the behavioral ecology and transcriptomics of Apostichopus japonicus in the future.

Abstract406)      PDF(pc) (1108KB)(1872)       Save
Concrete is made up of four basic materials, which are cement, water, sand and stone. The factors influencing the concrete strength are water-cement ratio, cement mark, the quality of aggregate, curing period, the late maintenance and construction method, etc. Concrete has many advantages, such as strong strength and durability, low cost of local materials, fine plasticity of concrete mixture, and it can be modeled into any structure and size. Because of the similar expansion coefficient of concrete to rebar, its combination with rebar composes reinforced concrete structure, which is strong, durable, antiseismic and economical. In this article, the experiment about mixing proportion of concrete is carried out, and the reasonable ratio and technologies are obtained for improving the concrete strength.
