Abstract: Hard branches with buds, greenwoods with buds and leaves explants of salt tolerance Rosa rugosa var. of transgenosis were cultured on Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal medium supplemented with different concentrations of either 6-BA solely or in combination with naphthalene-3-acetic acid (NAA). The best response in terms of the percentage of shoot regeneration was obtained from greenwoods with buds cultured on MS medium supplemented with 0.5 mg/L 6-BA, whereas the highest number of shoots per responding explant was recorded on medium containing 0.5 mg/L 6-BA and 0.5 mg/L ZT. Successful rooting was achieved by placing the microshoots onto 1/2 MS medium containing 0.5 mg/L NAA. Of the various substrates tested, riversand∶vermiculite∶peat=1∶1∶1 was the best for plant acclimatization, as 85% of the plants survived.
