Acute Toxicity Research of Chinese Herbal Medicines to Cynoglossus semilaevis Gunther and Scuticoci liatlda

Abstract: In this experiment, the acute toxicity effects of Chinese herbal medicines(quisqualis, sophora, ebony and cloves)on Cynoglossus semilaevis Gunther and Scuticoci liatlda were studied in lentic condition at room temperature. The results show that the safe concentration of the Chinese herbal medicines on Cynoglossus semilaevis Gunther was 0.030 8 g/L, the median lethal concentration of Chinese herbal medicines on Scuticoci liatlda within 24, 48, 72, 96 h was 0.600 6, 0.577 3, 0.567 5, 0.608 3 g/L, respectively. The results indicate that Chinese herbal medicines can't cure Cynoglossus semilaevis Gunther infeced by Scuticoci liatlda.
