Abstract: Concrete is made up of four basic materials, which are cement, water, sand and stone. The factors influencing the concrete strength are water-cement ratio, cement mark, the quality of aggregate, curing period, the late maintenance and construction method, etc. Concrete has many advantages, such as strong strength and durability, low cost of local materials, fine plasticity of concrete mixture, and it can be modeled into any structure and size. Because of the similar expansion coefficient of concrete to rebar, its combination with rebar composes reinforced concrete structure, which is strong, durable, antiseismic and economical. In this article, the experiment about mixing proportion of concrete is carried out, and the reasonable ratio and technologies are obtained for improving the concrete strength.
