Abstract: The decline of soil quality in greenhouse restricts the sustainable development of vegetable industry. This paper is based on the mechanism of soil conditioning agent, the use of different conditioning agents and the ratio has an impact on physical and chemical properties of the soil and the growth and quality of vegetables. Results are as follows, biochar could improve the soil water holding capacity, in terms of soil physical properties. The ratio of biochar and continuous agent can reduce the soil bulk density by 1.99%, and improve the soil agglomeration structure. In soil biology and chemistry, biochar has the best effect on soil microbial biomass carbon, which is 18.9% higher than CK. The ratio of biochar, continuous cropping and woody peat to soil DOC was 83.8% higher than CK. The effect of woody peat on soil cellulase and urease activity was the most significant, which was 0.020,0.109 mg/g higher than that of CK, to compare with CK, biochar increased soil organic matter by 0.87%.Woody peat was 0.36 g/kg higher than CK on the soil total nitrogen content. The ratio of biochar and woody peat to soil available phosphorus was 48.53% higher than that of CK. In the growth of tomato, the total biomass was the highest in biochar+woody peat+continuous cropping conditioner, The secondary treatment of woody peat and continuous cropping regulator. Under the condition of pot experiment, the effect of continuous cropping agent and woody peat, continuous cropping agent, woody peat and biochar was better for vegetable growth and soil property improvement. This study would have important reference value for improving greenhouse soil quality and sustainable development of vegetable field.
