Exploration on the Model of MOOCS in Mulluscs Culture and Enchancement course in application-oriented university: Taking Beibu Gulf University as an example

Abstract: The theory course of Mulluscs Culture and Enchancement is a professional basic course for aquaculture in marine colleges and universities. The teaching status of the theory teaching of Mulluscs Culture and Enchancement course have been analyzed in this study. The main problems of theory teaching were reviewed from two respects, including the teaching contents, disadvantages in traditional teaching. Moreover, the application prospect of MOOCS in the course of Mulluscs Culture and Enchancement was pointed out in this paper. Finally, teaching reforms of Mulluscs Culture and Enchancement theory course were explored from teaching design with MOOCS, including improving the teaching mode, innovating theory teaching content, optimizing the curriculum system, and perfecting the examination methods. The purpose of the study is to improve quality of teaching, enhance learning interest, so as to provide support for the cultivation of professional application type, innovative, compound quality aquatic talents.
