Abstract: ‘Frey’ and ‘Golden Finger’ grapes were sprayed with titanium fertilizer in the experiment to test effects of the fertilizer on physiological and photosynthetic characteristics of the grapes, and to find out appropriate concentration of titanium fertilizer applied for the grapes. The results showed that starch content, POD activity, pigment content, net photosynthetic rate (Pn), transpiration rate (E) and stomatal conductance (C) of the leaves were increased significantly. There were significant differences between ‘Frey’ and ‘Golden Finger’ in aspect of soluble sugar, starch content, pigment content, antioxidant enzyme activities and photosynthetic characteristics. The two cultivars didn’ t have the same response to the treatment of titanium fertilizer with different concentrations. The comprehensive analysis of the indexes and the membership function showed that the application of titanium fertilizer was beneficial to improve physiological and photosynthetic characteristics of the grapes, and dilution with water in 2 200 times was the suitable concentration of the fertilizer for ‘Frey’ and that in 700 times for ‘Golden Finger’ .
