Fruit quality analysis of ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape

Abstract: In order to provide theoretical guidance for the development of ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape industry in Tianjin, the quality of ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape needs to be evaluated. The ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape and the ordinary ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape used as test material, several important quality indicators including fruit weight, fruit hardness, fruit shape index, soluble solids, vitamin C, titratable acid, soluble sugar, soluble protein were measured and analyzed. The results showed that the single fruit weight, fruit shape index, soluble sugar content, and soluble protein content of the ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape were significantly higher than that of the ordinary ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape varieties, and the fruit hardness of the ordinary ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape was significantly higher than that of the ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape varieties. There was no significant difference between the soluble solids, titratable acid content and vitamin C content of the grape varieties. In summary, the fruit quality of the ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape is better than that of the ordinary ‘Muscat Hamburg’ grape.
