Practice Explorations and Harvests of Teaching and Scientific Research Combination for Course Teachers in Colleges and Universities under New Situation

Abstract: Course teachers in colleges and universities will remain busy in teaching for the popularization of higher education and be keen on researching and writing for promotion of professional qualification and post grade. So, their quality of teaching and scientific research will be questioned for their business. Thus, combination of teaching and scientific research is important. On the one hand, the qualities of teaching in “Marine Planktology”, “Hydrobiology”, “Water Environmental Restoration Technology” were improved significantly for the successful applications of the scientific research achievements in their theory and practice teaching process; On the other hand, problems found in the teaching process of three courses resolved through scientific researches. Combination of teaching and scientific research for teachers in colleges and universities is the effective way to ensure the quality of teaching and scientific research under the new situation.
