Abstract: In order to establish the propagation system of tomato embryogenic callus, the embryogenic callus was induced by inoculating tomato seed embryo on different media, and the induced embryogenic callus was transferred to MS media containing different hormones for propagation culture. The results showed that embryogenic callus could be induced directly on MS+ 5.0 mg/L BA+ 3.0 mg/L 2,4-D+ 0.5 mg/L NAA medium containing 6% sucrose, and embryogenic callus could be maintained best and grew fastest on MS+2.0 mg/L BA+ 0.5 mg/L 2,4-D+30 g/L sucrose medium. The results of this experiment have certain reference value for the development of tomato artificial seeds.
