Abstract: The strategy of Rural Revitalization is a major decision made by the Party Central Committee in the new era focusing on the overall work of the Party and the country. This strategy puts forward higher standards for talents serving “agriculture, rural areas and farmers”. As the main position of agricultural talent training, agricultural colleges and universities must shoulder the responsibility of cultivating new agricultural talents with “One understanding, Two loves”. In order to achieve this goal, the ideological and political theory course in agricultural colleges and universities must face the students’ difficulties in rural value identification, knowledge and teaching forms, reshape their understanding of rural value, clarify the triple logic of China’s rural reform, and constantly improve the teaching ideas and methods.
