Abstract: The course of ideological and political theory is the main position and channel of ideological and political work in colleges and universities. Its effect directly determiness the result of ideological and political work in colleges and universities. Therefore, in recent years, how to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political teaching in colleges and universities has been a hot topic in academic circles. This study mainly discusses the ways to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities through “Change because of Things”. Accurately choosing “Things” is the premise of “Change because of Things”; firmly believing Marxist “Things” is the guarantee of “Chang because of Things”; and thoroughly clarifying “Things” is the key to “Change because of Things”.
