Abstract: Photosynthesis is the most basic and important physiological and ecological characteristics of cyanobacteria. Membrane protein complexes perform an important biochemical function in photosynthesis. It is introduced the structure and function of five photosynthetic membrane protein complexes (photosystemⅠ, photosystemⅡ, cytochrome b6f, ATP synthase and NAD(P)H dehydrogenase) in cyanobacteria, and an outlook for the later study is made.
