Analysis on fruit quality differences of different apple varieties cultivated in open field in Tianjin

Abstract: Investigation and research on the fruit quality of different apple varieties cultivated in the open field provides a scientific basis for the selection and cultivation of apple varieties in Tianjin. Six mid-late ripening apple varieties from home and abroad were introduced. After the fruits were mature, the internal and external quality of each variety was measured and the membership function value was analyzed. The results showed that the fruit quality of ‘Red Love’ was the best, followed by ‘Tianhong 2’ and ‘Red General’, and the fruit quality of ‘World One’, ‘Sixth Generation Red Star’ and ‘Wanglin’ were the worst. After a comprehensive analysis, it is believed that the ‘Red Love’ performs well in the local area and can be introduced and promoted in Tianjin.
