Relationship between physiological characteristics and germination rate in flower bud of different peach and plum varieties

Abstract: In order to compare the relationship between physiological characteristics and germination rate in flower bud of different varieties, four peach varietiesin dormant period and three plum varieties were selected, and flower bud germination rate, the period related water content, soluble sugar content, soluble protein content and other physiological indicators indicators were determined. The results showed that all indexes of Qiu Jili were the highest. The bud rate, soluble sugar and water content of Kuli were the lowest, and the soluble protein was significantly lower than Qiu Jili. Among peach varieties, Zao Huangjin germination rate was the highest, and soluble protein was significantly higher than other varieties. Soluble sugar content of Huang Jinxiang NO.2 was the highest. Mean values of membership were as follows: Qiu Jili(1.000)>Raspberry Optimal(0.239)>Kuli(0.213); Zao Huangjin(1.000)>Fu Lihong(0.598)>Ju Huangyou(0.270)>Huang Jinxiang NO.2(0.157). After comprehensive analysis of the three indexes, it was found that there was a good consistency between the physiology characteristics and the germination rate indexes.
