Abstract: By the hydroponic experiment, the wild type of Nipponbare cultivar(Oryza sativa, japonica group)and its gene mutant ET-M were detected about their cadmium(Cd)accumulation level after a period of Cd stress, then the activities of antioxidases, as well as the contents of two organic matters were investigated and contrasted the difference between them. The results showed that Cd accumulation in either root or leaf of ET-M was lower than that in the wild type Nipponbare, meanwhile, the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and catalase(CAT)were also lower in the former than the latter under Cd stress.
