Abstract: In order to understand growth differences of different blueberry cultivars between plastic greenhouses and artificial heating greenhouse, the growth and physiological indexes of four varieties of blueberry(‘Bluecorp’ ‘Berkeley’ ‘Laikexy’ ‘ Brigitta’)were analyzed. The results showed that the indexes of ‘Berkeley’ were the highest in the artificial heating greenhouse, including the longest new shoot, the thickest stem, the largest leaf area of single plant, the highest content of chlorophyll a, b, and carotenoids. ‘Laikexy’ possessed the shortest shoots, the thinnest stem, the smallest leaf area and the thickest blade. In the plastic greenhouse, the longest shoots, the thickest blade, the largest leaf area of single plant belonged to ‘Berkeley’. The new shoot of ‘Laikexy’ was shortest, and its content of Chlorophyll A, B, and carotenoids of ‘Brigitta’ was the lowest. To sum up, the blueberry plants grow better in heating greenhouses, with ‘Berkeley’ best suitable for cultivation in greenhouse.
