Research on poverty alleviation model and mechanism of Tianjin E-commerce enterprises for agricultural products based on city-level regional E-commerce platform

Abstract: The main operators of Tianjin city-level agricultural products regional e-commerce platform have achieved significant results in poverty alleviation for the help of the “three regions and three states” and the counterpart counties in Chengde. They have adopted such practices as purchasing agricultural products, making use of the advantages of resources to develop characteristic industries, helping the poor by consumption, and sinking the first line, combining the models of “E-commerce enterprises for agricultural products+poor farmers” “E-commerce enterprises for agricultural products+cooperatives+poor farmers” “E-commerce enterprises for agricultural products+leading enterprises+poor farmers” and “E-commerce enterprises for agricultural products+cooperatives+base+poor farmers”. In order to estabish a long-term poverty alleviation mechanism, e-commerce enterprises of agricultural products should combine closely with municipal efforts to deepen cooperation in poverty alleviation, develop large-scale, standardized, brand-featured industries and processing industries in recipient areas, and integrate and extend the industrial chain. They should expand the scope and depth of poverty alleviation through consumption, make precise matching with the consumer market, and foster local cooperative organizations, e-commerce platforms for agricultural products and business operators.
