Research on the coordination of Tianjin urban agriculture development and the carrying capacity of resources and environment

Abstract

Abstract: To understand the law of collaboration between the development of urban agriculture and the carrying capacity of resources and environment in Tianjin. An evaluation index system for such capacity was established using the entropy method and index method based on data ranging from 2004 to 2018, and the coordination degree of Tianjin urban agriculture and the carrying capacity of resources and environment was calculated using the coupling model. It was found that during the sample period,（1）the comprehensive evaluation index of Tianjin; surban agriculture rose from 1.397 to 1.779, and the development of urban agriculture was generally optimistic;（2）the composite index of resource and environmental carrying capacity rose from 1.130 to 1.823, suggesting a positive role in supporting economic and social development;（3）Urban agricultural development and resource and environmental carrying capacity in Tianjin complemented each other and was in a state of superior coordinated development. Finally, policy implications was priveded.
