Abstract: In the era of rapid development of the digital economy and comprehensive implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, the quality of non-agricultural employment of rural labor has become key issue related to people's livelihood and the smooth flow of the domestic economic cycle. However, the distribution of digital dividends is uneven, and the existence of digital divide is profoundly restricting the improvement of the quality of non-agricultural employment of rural labor, which may further affect their income level and consumption capacity, and ultimately hinder the release of rural consumption potential and the achievement of rural revitalization goals. This paper will analyze the manifestations and core contradictions of the digital divide affecting the quality of non-agricultural employment of rural labor, deeply analyze its causes and mechanisms from multiple dimensions such as human capital, social capital, and industrial adaptability, and propose systematic and operable policy suggestions.
