Abstract: To implement the rural revitalization strategy, talents are the key. Through the perfect career planning education and ideological and political guidance, agricultural university students will become the backbone of the rural revitalization strategy. By investigating the status quo of studying and career planning of 575 undergraduate students in Tianjin Agricultural university, this paper analyzed the problems existing in education of career planning of this university, and proposed to implement career planning education in stages from the beginning of the freshman enrollment, to strengthen professional career planning practice education, to design the whole process and professional course system, to establish individualized counseling and consultation platform and to strengthen the effective integration of career education with ideological and political education. It is important to further improve that education for the agricultural university and promote the growth of agricultural university students to serve the rural revitalization strategy.
