Abstract: Ex-servicemen serving rural revitalization is conducive to enhancing the internal driving force of rural industrial revitalization, improving the capacity and level of rural governance, and further strengthening the national defense mobilization capacity and emergency service capacity of rural area. At present, there are still some problems in ex-servicemen serving rural revitalization such as some ex-servicemen being lack of full understanding of the rural revitalization strategy, employment attitudes necessary to be changed, less professional skills training, and employment and entrepreneurship services for ex- servicemen necessary to be further improved. These countermeasures should be implemented to help ex-servicemen better serve rural revitalization including perfecting the career development path of ex-servicemen, opening up channels for ex-servicemen to serve rural governance, optimizing the employment and entrepreneurship service system for ex-servicemen, reinforcing training and education to empower ex-servicemen, and strengthening publicity and guidance.
