Abstract: In order to research the effect of water saving treatment on rice agronomic traits and yield during different growth stages, agronomic traits and yield using 2 rice varieties(Jingyuan E28 and Jingdao 417)were studied under water saving treatment by rice during different growth stages to clear changes of agronomic traits and yield in rice. The results showed that the various effects of water saving treatments on yield during different growth stages and spike number and 1000-grain weight was the most limited factor. The reduce the rate of yield was 14%-39%, 12%-27%, respectively. Spike number, kernels per spike, stem length, spike length, the solid grain number and 1000-grain weight of water saving treatment was significant. The decline of kernels per spike, 1000-grain weight and yield of rice was obvious in jointing and booting. The rice panicles and grains panicles of water saving treatment was the lowest from green to tillering stage. The solid grain number of water saving treatment was the lowest from out of the ear to tillering stage.
