Abstract: Through the different sowing date experiments on Jinchuan No.1, the differences of the yields, the yield composition elements and the eating qualities are compared and analyzed among the different treatments, and thus to provide theoretical guidance for choosing reasonable sowing period for high quality rice Jinchuan No.1. The results indicate that the suitable sowing time for Jinchuan No. 1 is in mid to late April, and the significant yield decrease, the amylose contents increase and the viscosity decrease can be induced because of the too late sowing time, and thus the eating qualities are reduced.
