Abstract: Milk somatic cell count(SCC)is an important index for the evaluation of milk quality. The electrical detection method is a relatively easy technology for fast automatic detection. A new SCC fast detection method with interdigitated microelectrodes which was based on the previous researches and the sensor technology was studied in this work. The equivalent circuit of milk samples was made and the feasibility of this scheme was verified. The results show that there was a linear relationship between the resistance part of the milk samples(RS)and the cow disease level. This test method is convenient, quick and lay a certain foundation for the development of SCC fast detection instrument.
