Abstract: Fermentation biogenic gas is generally composed of several renewable energy gases with complex and changeable composition. A method for determination of hydrogen, nitrogen, methane and carbon dioxide simultaneously in fermentation biogenic gas was established by gas chromatography in this study. The chromatographic peaks were identified efficiently. The standard curves were well fitted in their linear ranges and the component analysis method was capable of very high precision and accuracy. This method was applied in the component analysis of the produced gas in two-stage hydrogen-methane fermentation process for treating food waste, and the way of main composition of fermentation gas change in batch experiment was achieved.
