Abstract: The effects of seven treatments by the humic acid, alum, dolomite, zeolite four conditioners and ratio on nitrogen absorption in high nitrogen soils were studied. The results showed that applying conditioners could promote waxy corn growth and effectively increase plant height, stem diameter and chlorophyll content of waxy corn. In each treatment to apply conditioner, the application of alum could increase the dry weight of crop biomass. The combined application of singly applied alum and humic acid plus alum + zeolite + dolomite could significantly increase the amount of nitrogen absorbed by corn. Conditioning agent dolomite had the most obvious effect on reducing soil total nitrogen content. Applying alum could reduce nitrate nitrogen content in soil, reduce soil nitrogen accumulation and nitrogen environmental risk. This experiment would provide certain technical approaches for controlling nitrogen non-point source pollution in high nitrogen soils.
