5种薄荷对PEG模拟干旱胁迫的生理响应与耐旱性评价

Physiological response and drought tolerance evaluation of five mints to PEG-simulated drought stress

摘要: 为筛选薄荷属植物耐旱种质资源,采用不同浓度PEG-6000模拟干旱的方法,研究了干旱胁迫对5种薄荷种子萌发特性和幼苗生理生化特性的影响,并结合隶属函数法分析比较了5种薄荷的抗旱性。结果表明:干旱胁迫可明显抑制5种薄荷种子的萌发,PEG-6000浓度越高抑制作用越明显。随着胁迫程度的加重,5种薄荷幼苗的相对含水量持续性降低,SOD酶活性和光合色素含量呈现先上升后下降的趋势,脯氨酸、可溶性蛋白、可溶性糖和丙二醛含量均逐步上升。不同种薄荷的变化幅度有所差异,在重度胁迫时,普列薄荷的脯氨酸含量是CK的5.21倍,美国薄荷的可溶性蛋白含量相当于CK的5.19倍,胡椒薄荷的丙二醛含量相当于CK的 3.36倍。根据隶属函数分析得出抗旱性顺序为:美国薄荷(Monarda didyma)>普列薄荷(Mentha pulegium L.)>留兰香薄荷(Mentha spicata L.)>柠檬薄荷(Mentha citrata)>胡椒薄荷(Mentha piperita)。

Abstract: For screening of mint plant drought-resistant germplasm resources, the effect of drought stress simulated by different concentrations of PEG - 6000 on seed germination and seedling physiological and biochemical characteristics of 5 kinds of mint and the drought tolerance of the five mints was evaluated by subordinate function method. The results showed that drought stress could significantly restrain the germination of 5 kinds of mint seeds, and the inhibition effect was increased with the increase of PEG-6000 concentration. With the increase of stress degree, the relative water content of the five kinds of mint seedlings decreased continuously. SOD activity and photosynthetic pigment content increased first and then decreased. The contents of proline, soluble protein, soluble sugar and MDA all increased gradually. Under severe stress, the proline content of Mentha pulegium was 5.21 times that of CK, the soluble protein content of Monarda didyma was 5.19 times that of CK, and the MDA content of Mentha piperita was 3.36 times that of CK. According to the membership function analysis, the order of drought resistance was : Monarda didyma>Mentha puleqium L.>Mentha spicata L.>Mentha citrata>Mentha piperita.
