On socialist deliberative democracy from the perspective of value philosophy

Abstract

Abstract: As a kind of non-utilitarian value, socialist deliberative democracy has a dual value of form and substance. From the horizontal perspective, the value of the socialist deliberative democracy should be reasonably positioned in the sequence of core values. The concept of equality is the premise of socialist deliberative democracy;the rule of law is the guaranteeing concept of socialist deliberative democracy. From a vertical perspective, collectivism different from individualism is the most fundamental value of the socialist deliberative democracy system. No matter as the value of socialist deliberative democracy, or as a practice of socialist deliberative democracy, it can not be separated from the strong support of the socialist core values.
