Progress on Harvesting Time and Physiological Characteristics of Post-harvest Fresh Ears of Waxy Corn

Abstract: The nutritional quality and edible quality of post-harvest fresh ears of waxy corn will change significantly along with the changes of storage time, storage temperature and other environmental conditions. In this paper, the changes of physiological indexes of fresh ears of waxy corn after harvest are summarized, such as the water content, the sugar content, the respiration intensity and so on.
