Abstract: Based on the statistical analysis of questionnaires studies of 500 college students, this article reveals the status quo of cultivation and practice of socialist core values by college students in China. The key to cultivating and practicing socialist core value among college students lies in the observation of its inner mechanism. Under the guidance of fundamental theory and indoctrination of ideological pedagogics of Marxism and by drawing on the theory of identity and sticking to combination of theory and practice, the article tries to construct a way to the operation and realization of socialist core values, which pays special attention to mechanism perfection, cognition improvement, identity enhancement and practice promotion.
