The extension and performance of a new Pleurotus nebrodensis TN01 and its preservation technology

Abstract: It is very valuable and significant to extend the new Pleurotus nebrodensis TN01 in main production zone by a farmer- loving way. In this paper, TN01 and its “PE film+clove oil+decompression” preservation technology were extended by “promotion team+large growers+farmers” pattern in Jizhou District of Tianjin. The results showed that compared with the traditional strain, TN01 had a yield-increasing for 11.16%, a biological transformation rate increasing for 8%, and growth period shorting for 15 days. New preservation technology “PE film+cloveoil+decompression” could effectively maintain the commodity characteristics of P. nebrodensis and extend the shelf period of P. nebrodensis for 28 days. In general, TN01 strain and preservation technology of “PE film+clove oil+decompression” were suitable to extend in Tianjin. At the same time, the pattern of “promotion team+large growers+farmers” could effectively improve the enthusiasm of the farmers to test new strain and use new technology, and effectively promote the yield of P. nebrodensis and income of the farmers.
