Abstract: The continuous development of intensive, large-scale facility aquaculture has put forward new requirements for feeding systems. The intelligent feeding system has become an important means to improve feed utilization rate and control breeding costs due to its automatic and intelligent characteristics. This article first introduced the development process, the concept and structure of the intelligent feeding system, and then detailed the research progress of the intelligent feeding system for aquaculture from the aspects of intelligent feeding hardware and intelligent analysis of fish feeding intensity. Finally, it pointed out that China’s current intelligent feeding system has some problems such as lack of close integration with industry, lack of systematicity and low degree of marketization.
