Abstract: :In order to study the growth of theNorth American crabapple on mild saline soil, the growth dynamics of annual rings in different yearswere studied with ‘Donghong’ ‘Wumei’ ‘Yadang’ ‘Xiyangyang’ ‘Xuanli’ ‘Kiles’ ‘Royal’ ‘Ruby’.The results showed that the annual average growth rings of ‘Dong Hong’(0.633 cm)was the highest, and the ‘Royal’(0.464 cm)was the lowest. From the growth dynamics of annual growth rings in different years, the average annual growth volume(0.739 cm)in all cultivars in 2015 was the highest, which was increased by 183.85% compared to 2011(0.260 cm). From the magnitude changes of annual rings in each year, the variation of ‘Donghong’ ‘Wumei’ ‘Xuanli’ and ‘Ruby’ were smaller, while ‘Kiles’ ‘Yadang’ ‘XiYangyang’ and ‘Royal’ had greater fluctuations. Therefore, the comprehensive analysis suggested that ‘DongHong’ was more suitable for the cultivation of mild saline soil.
