Abstract: The online registration and results inquiry system for higher vocational students to underdraduates was designed using Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server 2008 R2 data base management system (DBMS). The system realized the registration from the higher vocational students to underdraduates, the printing of the admission card for entrance examination and the results inquiry online. The admission managers could confirm, query, modify, delete and count the related information of registration. According to the needs for updating acheivement information every year, the system realized the function of importing acheivement information to SQL Database and exporting the information of registration from SQL Database to Excel data. The system is practical and easy to operate, the candidates can input registration information conveniently, and the work for admission managers was simplified, the recruitment efficiency was also improved.
