Abstract: By indoor pot experiment, the writer takes use of sludge, leaves, soil and urea these four kinds of materials in different proportions formulated into 9 kinds of growing media, studied its effect on the growth of rape seedlings to filter out for rapeseed cultivation matrix type and ratio, while also providing the scientific basis for reasonable garden waste recycling in plant cultivation. The best one was E, which was 1 000 g leaves, 800 g sludge, 600 g soil and 20 g urea. while the worst one was 1 000 g leaves, 1 200 g sludge, 600 g soil and 20 g urea. Through the analysis of rape seedling germination rate, fresh and dry weight, plant height and root length and other morphological indexes, observed that the descending order of 9 matrix which can promote growth of oilseed rape are E, D, B, A, H, F, G, C, I, respectively. This studies show that this kind of fertilizer can be the culture for plants and can partly substitute for scarce peat resources.
