Analysis and Study on Cow Hoof Disease in Tianjin Area

Abstract: It is analyzed the incidence and types of the cow hoof disease in the large-scale dairy farms in current Tianjin area in order to provide the basis for making out comprehensive prevention measures of the area. 4 298 Holstein cows in 12 large-scale dairy farms were selected for statistical objects from August 2013 to November 2014, and the incidence of the cow hoof disease was calculated and the characteristics were analyzed. The results show that the average incidence of cow hoof disease was 14.55% (217/1 491), and the incidence of the interdigital skin hyperplasia, solar ulceration, white line disease and verrucose dermatitis were much higher than that of other hoof disease.
