Abstract: It is examined the research performance of Tianjin Agricultural University using the numbers of articles appearing in journals and the numbers of citations by Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E) form 2001 to 2012. The results show that the number of science papers and cited frequency of Tianjin Agricultural University since 2001 have increased year by year, and there is a strong influence in fisheries, biology, agriculture, food, veterinary sciences. Tianjin Agricultural University should further improve the quality and quantity of the publications and strengthen the international communication and the cooperation in the related academic fields.
