Abstract: In order to explore the effects of different light sources on the regeneration of cabbage adventitious buds, the three cabbage materials 12-1, 12-2 and 12-3 were cultured respectively under the LED red light, LED yellow light, LED blue light and fluorescent light as control. The results show that the callus induction ratio was 100% under LED red, yellow and blue light, the induction rate of LED red light was significantly higher than that of LED yellow light, and there was no significant difference between LED red light and fluorescent light. The adventitious bud induction ratio ranged that under red light>under fluorescent light>under blue light>under yellow light, the frequency of regeneration ranged that under red light>under blue light>under fluorescent light>under yellow light, while the ratio of root induction ranged that under fluorescent light>under red light>under blue light>under yellow light. The observation showed that under the LED light, the materials had more fibrous roots and the sidewall condesation phenomena, especially under the red light; the adventitious buds grew after the callus have been inducted, the leaves were small, creepy and had poor growth vigor, particularly, the materials showed stem elongation and spindling under the blue light. However, the callus induction ratio was low and the adventitious buds grew well under the fluorescent light.
