Abstract: Agricultural heritage systems are important carriers and the essence of China’s traditional agrarian civilization, playing a significant role in rural revitalization and sustainable agricultural development. Based on field investigations and data analysis of agricultural heritage systems in Tianjin, this study finds that current systems are characterized by insufficient excavation and systematic documentation, increasing spatial protection pressure driven by urbanization processes, weak branding influence, and an underdeveloped policy support and professional talent system. On this basis, several optimization strategies are proposed, including strengthening the census and classification management of heritage resources, improving policy support and multi-level coordination mechanisms; Promoting branding construction and demonstration area development of agricultural heritage; Reinforcing spatial regulation and integrated protection of core areas; Advancing coordinated conservation and value co-construction within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region; And enhancing professional training and educational practice systems, so as to improve the overall conservation level and sustainable development capacity of agricultural heritage systems.
