Abstract: A 4-year-old female cat was examined by blood biochemistry. The results showed that ALT was 436 u/L, ALKP was 249 u/L, TBIL was 88 μmol/L, which was higher than the normal value. Combined with the digestive tract symptoms such as fever, depression, loss of appetite, vomiting and severe jaundice, the cat was diagnosed as liver failure. According to the clinical symptoms and the results of hematological tests, the cat was treated with a comprehensive treatment for more than a month. The results showed that the values of ALT, ALKP and TBIL all reached normal values, and the cat’s diet and defecation were normal, indicating that the cat had basically recovered. The follow-up report of this case can provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment of pets.
