Abstract: It is described the meanings of the professional core abilities of the application-oriented undergraduates. Preliminarily, it is explored the three steps of the training scheme on the professional core abilities of the application-oriented undergraduates, that is, to organize specialized vocational core competencies courses based on primary practice and complementary theory, to integrate vocational core competencies education into academic courses, and to emphasize the professional core ability cultivation during the practice-teaching. Meanwhile, the key points how to operate the cultivation scheme inferred are analyzed.
