盐度对条形尖颈虫种群动力和细胞形态的影响

Effects of salinity on population dynamics and cell morphology of Trachelostyla pediculiformis

摘要: 盐度是影响水生生物生长繁殖的重要环境因素,为了解原生动物纤毛虫对盐度的响应,本研究以条形尖颈虫(Trachelostyla pediculiformis)为试验对象,在不同盐度(5、10、15、20、25、30、35、40、45、50、55、60、65、70、75)下对其进行驯化,探究条形尖颈虫在不同盐度下的种群动力学响应以及形态变化。结果表明,条形尖颈虫对盐度的适应范围为5~75,随着盐度升高,其种群生长率呈先上升后下降的趋势,在25~45盐度培养下条形尖颈虫的种群生长率显著高于其他盐度组,5、10和75盐度下条形尖颈虫出现负增长;低盐度(10~20)和高盐度(50~70)培养下条形尖颈虫的细胞长宽值均增大,长宽比缩小。综上所述,盐度变化影响了条形尖颈虫生长和发育,盐度25~45培养下条形尖颈虫生长状态较好,低(<20)或高(>50)盐度培养下条形尖颈虫细胞膨胀。本研究可为纤毛虫监测海洋盐度变化提供基础数据。

Abstract: Salinity is an important environmental factor that affects the growth and reproduction of aquatic organisms. To explore the effects of salinity changes on the marine ciliates, Trachelostyla pediculiformis was domesticated under variable salinities(5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75). The purpose is to explore the population dynamics response and individual morphological changes of T. pediculiformis under different salinity. The results showed that the range of salinity adaption of T. pediculiformis was 5~75, and with the increase in salinity, the population growth rate first increased and then decreased. In addition, the population growth rate of T. pediculiformis cultured at 25~45 salinity was significantly higher than those of other salinity groups, and the population growth rate of T. pediculiformis was negative at 5, 10, and 75 salinity. Furthermore, under low salinity(10~20)and high salinity(50~70), the cell length and width value of T. pediculiformis increased, and the length-width ratio decreased. In conclusion, the change in salinity affected the growth and development of T. pediculiformis. T. pediculiformis was in optimized condition under the cultural environment of salinity 25~45. Low(<25)or high(>45)salinity inhibits the growth of T. pediculiformis, resulting in cell expansion of T. pediculiformis. The essay provides a basis data for the research on the ciliate to the variation of marine salinity.
