Abstract: Ideological and political course is the key course to carry out moral education. It should not only embody the commonness, but also publicize the individuality. The commonness is to guide in ideological and political fields for training qualified socialist constructors and successors. Personality of the ideological and political course in agricultural universities means that the course should undertake its own mission in the background of new agricultural education. Therefore, it must embody the dual missions, commonness and personality of ideological and political course of agricultural colleges and universities. Since commonness lies in individuality and is embodied by individuality, ideological and political courses in agricultural universities should cultivate students’ cognition and emotion of “knowing and loving”, promote students’ concept and consciousness of “learning and working”, and strengthen students’ responsibility of “strengthening and promoting” agriculture .
