Abstract: To avoid the goods getting rot and decay, and ensure the environmental condition to meet the requirement for freezing and preservation of goods during transportation, a remote monitoring system for refrigerated vehicle was designed. The system was composed of a ZigBee network acquisition system and a GSM/GPRS data transmission system. Under the control of single chip MCU,some environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, ethylene concentration and carbon dioxide concentration of the refrigerated truck were real-time collected by the acquisition nodes. ZigBee wireless network for data acquisition was constructed by the multi-terminal nodes. The collected data was transferred to the remote monitoring center by applying GSM/GPRS, and then temperature and humidity adjustment were implemented in line with the environmental threshold of system setting through the MCU. If there was any problem, sound and light alarm was activated by the control enter.
