Abstract: Recently, with the rapid development of modern animal husbandry in China, veterinary medicine discipline plays a growing role in animal disease and animal derived food hygiene and safety aspects. At present, compared with the advanced domestic and foreign counterparts, there is still a certain gap of veterinary medicine discipline in our university. In order to continuously improve the level of veterinary medicine discipline, the development plan and corresponding implementation strategies were analyzed in this paper, which will provide the strong talent and technical supports to ensure the healthy development in urban-typed modern animal husbandry in Tianjin.
