Abstract: :Chicken embryos develop independently from the mother body. It is convenient to obtain a large number of embryos in the same development period to carry out batch operations, and the operation during embryo stage does not harm the mother body. Therefore, chicken embryo has been an important experimental animal model which was widely used. This paper summarized the current application of chicken embryo models in biological studies such as diseases and drug effects, with the purpose to provide reference for expanding the application prospects of chicken embryo models.
