Abstract: In order to study the effects of selenium-enriched lactic acid bacteria on growth, blood biochemical indexes, intestinal flora and cytokines in mice, in this experiment, 32 Kunming mice of clean grade were selected, randomly divided into two groups. Control group: the control group was fed with basic diet and provided with normal drinking water every day. Group Se: basic diet was fed and drinking water supplemented with selenium-rich lactic acid bacteria for 12 hours a day.(The number of living bacteria was 1.0×1011cfu/L, selenium content was 0.12 mg/L). After 45 days, the growth performance, organ index, blood biochemical index, intestinal flora and serum cytokines were measured. The results showed that there was no significant difference in heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney index between Se group and control group(P>0.05); There were no significant differences in feed intake, feed weight ratio and weight gain between Se group and control group(P>0.05); There were no significant differences in total protein, albumin, globulin, creatinine and urea nitrogen content between Se group and control group(P>0.05); Compared with the control group, the number of enterococci in Se group decreased significantly(P<0.05)and the number of Bacillus acidilactici increased significantly(P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in the number of E.coli and bifidobacterium between Se group and control group(P>0.05). There was no significant difference in IL-2, IL-4, IL-8, IFN-g level between Se group and control group(P>0.05). To sum up, the results showed that selenium-enriched lactic acid bacteria had no effect on the growth, blood biochemical indexes and IL-2, IL-4, IL-8, IFN-g level of mice; Selenium-enriched lactic acid bacteria can increase the number of lactobacterium in the intestinal tract of mice and decrease the number of enterococcus.
