Abstract: Mesembryanthemum Crystallinum L. seedlings cultured for 45 days were used as experimental materials, and soilless substrate potting method was used to carry out the experiment. The substrate water holding capacity was 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, and 20%, among which 100% was the control group, and the random block design was used. Through the determination of growth index, physiological and biochemical index of crystal ice cabbage, the effect of drought stress on the growth of crystal ice cabbage was studied. The experimental results show that the crystal ice cabbage has certain drought resistance. When the water holding capacity of the matrix was 60%, the yield per plant was the highest and the growth condition was the best. However, under severe drought stress, the growth of Crystallinum L. was inhibited.
