Abstract: Xi Jin-ping’s view of youth ideological and political education in the new era is profound. From the logical construction, Marxist youth education thought is the theoretical logic, Chinese excellent traditional culture and the youth ideological and political education theory of the party are historical logic, and the youth responsibility and historical mission are realistic logic. In terms of content, Xi Jin-ping’s logical system of ideological and political education for young people in the new era is rigorous, mainly including moral education with the fundamental task of establishing people-oriented morality education, and ideal and faith education with the Chinese dream as the core, and the education of values guided by the core values and the patriotic education of building the spiritual homeland together. Xi Jin-ping’s concept of ideological and political education for young people in the new era contains abundant methodological resources, which provides the foundation for the ideological and political education of youth in the new era.
